It's been an aim of mine for some time to revive the WSBA to add value to the region.
Also we might get some standardisation with handicaps.
There will be cups to play for and lots of interclub action. Be there!

It's time for the new Southey Honda season which kicks off on 11th May.
Sadly South Wairarapa is unable to field a team this year.

SOUTHEY HONDA LEAGUE 2009
Teams consist of 6 players of any mix of grades. Unlimited squad number
Every player will start on an initial individual handicap agreed by the handicap secretary.
On match night, players must draw numbers from a hat to see who plays who.
Playing order will be one pairs and 2 singles matches each – single frame matches = total 15 games
One point gained for each frame won (total 15 points available).
Matches to be played every fortnight (home and away) 7pm start. Home team to choose day, unless agreed with opposing team
Results to be sent to Results Secretary
Honda team shirts are to be worn at matches
Presentation evening to be arranged
A SINGLES LEAGUE will commence after the completion of the team competition

The Southey Honda Interclub League celebrates over 25 years of promoting interaction between clubs in the Wairarapa. The format for the team event was changed to a handicapped basis to encourage more lower ranked players to play. Each individual started with his own handicap. The handicap was adjusted after each match by 2 points up or down for a win or loss.
